CHILDREN & YOUTH
At St. Andrew’s, our children and youth are a critical part of our church! They are our next generation of leaders and bring a vital enthusiasm and wisdom to our mission of sharing the joy of God’s love with one another. Learning about God’s love for us and his purpose in our lives, building strong relationships with each other and our community, and serving others is what St. Andrew’s is all about. So come join us as we learn to Share the Joy! For further information about any of our programs, contact Onalee Avinger, Director of Children and Youth Ministries.
The Kids’ Club welcomes children ages 5 – 5th Grade for a program of Bible study, games, crafts, choir, and outings. It meets Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:30 in the Kids’ Club room in the church.
Our Youth Group is an exciting place for middle & high school youth to learn about God, create strong friendships, partake in meaningful service activities, go on rousing outings, and just have fun! Youth Group meets every Sunday from 12:30 – 1:30 pm in the Youth room during the school year and 1-2 times a month during the summer. All are welcome here!
Vacation Bible School:
At St. Andrews we take great strides to ensure that our kids have the best VBS experience possible. Offering a VBS program every summer, we combine our years of experience with faith, creativity, love, music, games, and fun to make sure our kids leave knowing more about God and his love for them. Our dedicated volunteers are there to make sure each child will grow in their faith in God in a safe, loving environment.
Children are welcome to join us in the sanctuary during worship. See an usher for an activity bag!
This program is currently on hiatus due to COVID-19. Parents are welcome to bring their little ones with them to the service. The nursery is provided for babies under two during Sunday School at 9:30am and Morning Worship at 11:00 am. Child care for children two to five is also provided during Morning Worship. Nursery is located in the Weekday School building.
